Is repossession lawful without a court order in the Philippines?+
A financed unit may be recovered without a court order only through the borrower's voluntary surrender. Where surrender is refused, recovery must proceed through replevin or another judicial remedy. We never take a unit by force, stealth or intimidation, and every surrender is covered by a signed deed.
How is the condition of the unit documented?+
Each recovery is accompanied by a dated condition report, photographs of the exterior, interior, odometer and accessories, and an inventory of items found in the unit. The record follows the vehicle through storage and turnover.
Where are recovered units held?+
Units are moved to the storage facility your institution designates, or to an agreed secure yard, with chain-of-custody signatures at each handoff.
